WELCOME to Murphy's Law where we provide an extensive promotional calender and the slogan of 'there's no law against having the time of your life' never dissapoints. All events held by Murphy's Law are free, including live entertainment, DJs, themed parties and Sky sports viewings. We are found right in the heart of Jackson Street Petone, with true decor to the Irish theme. The building faces North providing a fantastic (all day sun) outdoor imbibing area and plenty of free street parking.

At Murphy's Law you will find good old-fashioned hospitality, efficient service and an all round friendly atmosphere. It is where lifelong relationships are formed and where your expectations of a pub are exceeded. There are loads of entertainment and themed events to take part in.

You will also find that our food menus cater for everyone, with reasonable pricing, an excellent reputation for taste and plenty of traditional hearty fare. There is something for everyone, and no one will leave hungry. Our ordering service allows bistro or table service convenience by our friendly bar staff which emphasises our warm, relaxed environment. Light tasty bar snacks are available at all times and if you are looking for something more substantial, the kitchen is open for $12 lunches and $3 Build Your Own Breakfasts Friday thru Sunday from 11am - 5pm, and an  array of choices from our dinner menu available from 5pm - 9pm 6 days a week. We are closed Mondays.

We provide an extensive range of beverages, including great flavoured coffee. All meals and coffee are made available as takeaway for those on the move.
